WE ARE LOS ANGELES

A Chorus for Unity and Rebuilding

Currently in Production

An original multi-artist music project bringing Los Angeles voices together to support

people and communities still rebuilding after the 2025 wildfires

ABOUT THE PROJECT

WE ARE LOS ANGELES is an original song and multi-artist recording project created in the aftermath of the 2025 Los Angeles wildfires. The goal is to bring artists, musicians, community organizations, and supporters together around a message of unity while helping keep attention on the long road of recovery and rebuilding.

CREATED BY MATT PAKUCKO

WE ARE LOS ANGELES was created and produced by Los Angeles producer, mixer, engineer and songwriter Matt Pakucko, founder of Mix City Music and co-founder of Save Porter Ranch. During the Aliso Canyon gas blowout disaster, Matt became one of the most visible voices of the Porter Ranch community, working with residents, government agencies, elected officials and the media through the crisis and the years that followed. He remains actively involved in the community today. That experience — seeing firsthand what happens long after a disaster disappears from the headlines — is a major part of what inspired WE ARE LOS ANGELES and its focus on recovery, unity and rebuilding.

We’re currently looking to connect with singers and artists, nonprofit and wildfire-recovery partners, music-industry collaborators, sponsors, and media contacts who may want to be part of WE ARE LOS ANGELES as the project develops. If you’re interested in participating, partnering, or learning more, please get in touch.
